TFILM is a film production company founded in 2007 by Federico Tocchella, director, animator and independent producer.

TFILM is committed to supporting and promoting art house films based on experimentation, research and the blending of techniques and visual languages, including Live Action, Animation and Video Art.

Our short films have been recognized by many different national and international organizations and have been awarded official national cultural heritage status with the Italian government’s designation of “Film d’Interesse Culturale Nazionale”. In addition, many have been produced thanks to contributions and credits from the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Italian Cinema Tax Credit and the Lazio Regional Audiovisual Fund.

FEDERICO TOCCHELLA
PRODUCER/DIRECTOR/ANIMATION ARTIST

Federico Tocchella graduated at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome (Experimental Cinematography School) Animation program (2005). Over the years he has developed a particular ability to bring together different types of production and narrative techniques in his films. Tocchella has won several awards in Italy and abroad. His latest short film "Isacco" received a nomination for "Best Animated Film" at the 2014 Nastri d'Argento (Silver Ribbon) awards. Tocchella began producing films in 2006 with his production company TFILM, the company that is still responsible for producing all of his short films since then. He has taught in several film schools: 2006-2011 CSC Experimental Center of Cinematography, Animation of Turin / 2012-2013 Gian Maria Volonté of Rome / 2017-2019 RUFA - Rome University of Fine Arts.

ARIANNA ROSSINI
CRATIVE PRODUCER

Arianna Rossini has worked in the film industry since 2002, when she began as Marco Bellocchio's personal assistant. Since 2006 she has been working in production, collaborating with important companies as coordinator and production delegate and following more than 50 titles, such as, among others, "Le quattro volte" by M. Frammartino and "Miss Marx" by S. Nicchiarelli. Lately she has specialized as archive materials and music supervisor, and as creative producer of animated films and TV series projects.


VALERIO ANTONINI
LEGAL COUNSEL / EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Valerio Antonini graduated in Law from Rome's University “La Sapienza” in 2017.
Lawyer since 2020, Valerio improved his knowledge of copyright and film production at STANFORD University, HARVARD School of law Online WIPO World Intellectual Property Organization, Online LUISS Business School of Rome. 
He collaborated with various Film Production Companies supporting legal and business teams, working on rights acquisition, talent, workforce, location and many more contracts, national and international film found application (MEDIA, Eurimages, MIBAC and others), also selection and development of several new projects, doing market and artistic evaluation.
He followed numerous films like ‘Non mi uccidere’ by Andrea De Sica - ‘Siberia’ by Abel Ferrara - ‘MISS MARX’ by Susanna Nicchiarelli and many others.


ALICE LIA
DIRECTOR/CHARACTER DESIGNER/ILLUSTRATOR

Alice Lia is a graduate of Rome's Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Experimental Cinematography Centre) Animation program (2004).
She is based in Paris, where she collaborates with noted French Animation Studios on films and television series.
She also worked on the production  of important author feature films, such as "Persepolis" and "Le Chat du Rabbin", as well as several TV series produced and broadcast by the French and German cultural channel ARTE.
She is currently working on several personal art projects of illustration and animation direction. She is co-author and co-director of the short film "IL CORTILE", currently in production.


STEFANO VONA BIANCHINI
DIRECOTR/ACTOR

Graduated at the National Academy of Drama “Silvio D'Amico” of Rome , Italy in 2007/08.
Stefano has worked as an actor in theater, cinema and TV collaborating with internationally renowned directors such as Emma Dante, Antonio Calenda, Giorgio Albertazzi, Carlo Cecchi, Armando Pugliese. He has experiences in physical theater collaborating with authors and choreographers like Emma Dante, Jacqueline Bulnes, Giancarlo Sepe.
As Writer and Director he realized short films and theatrical works like Blue Monday (2017) and Essere Emme (2019).
His interest, as an author and actor, in different visual languages ​​brought him closer to animation cinema and in 2016 he started an artistic collaboration with Federico Tocchella.


JACQUELINE BULNES
DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER/DANCER

An internationally-established choreographer and dancer, Jacqueline has worked with prestigious dance companies of the calibre of Martha Graham and José Limon in New York (2005-2019). She has also worked extensively in Europe since 2012, as choreographer & teacher, having directed productions for various Festivals. Since 2014, she has served as movement director for the Italian directors. As a director and producer she has created a wealth of multi-disciplinary performances centred around mixing dance, theatre and live music.
